📄 Credit & Payment Policy

California Diesel Manufacturing LLC
Effective Date: February 3, 2025

1. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Major Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)

  • Wire Transfers

  • ACH Bank Transfers

  • Zelle (for verified U.S. customers, up to $2,000 only — by request and approval)

All payments must be made in USD unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. New Account Setup

All new business accounts must provide the following:

  • Federal Tax ID / EIN

  • Business Registration Certificate or License

  • Three (3) current Trade References

  • Completed Credit Application (supplied by our team)

  • Official Purchase Order (on company letterhead)

Incomplete submissions will delay processing.

3. Credit Term Qualification

Path A – Standard (6-Month History):

  • At least 6 months of completed prepaid orders

  • Minimum of $10,000 in total purchase history

  • 100% on-time payment history

  • No unresolved returns or disputes

Path B – Expedited Review:

  • Completed credit application

  • Dun & Bradstreet score of 80 or higher

  • Three (3) positive trade references

  • Bank reference letter

  • Recent financial statements

  • Personal Guarantee (required for private corporations)

  • Minimum of $10,000 in initial prepaid orders

4. Credit Limits & Terms

  • Initial credit limits are determined by account review and purchase volume

  • Net 30 payment terms (maximum) may be granted

  • A 2% early payment discount is available if paid within 10 days (2/10 Net 30)

  • Credit terms and limits are reviewed bi-annually

  • Personal guarantee is required for privately owned businesses

5. Shipping & Fulfillment

  • Most orders ship within 2–4 business days after payment clearance

  • Tracking is emailed at the time of shipment

  • Carbon-neutral shipping available upon request

  • International orders may require prepayment and custom handling

6. Order Processing

Standard Orders:

  • Processed within 1 business day

  • Subject to stock availability and payment verification

Rush Orders:

  • Priority processing available (additional charges may apply)

  • Contact us in advance to confirm eligibility

7. Terms, Penalties & Collection

  • Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge

  • Returned checks incur a $35 fee

  • Credit terms may be suspended for overdue invoices

  • We reserve the right to revise or revoke credit terms with 30 days’ written notice

  • In the event of collection, the buyer is responsible for legal and recovery fees

8. Legal Notes

This policy is in compliance with the California Commercial Code and U.S. Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).
All transactions are governed under the laws of the State of California.
